Dylan LeBlanc (March 9, 1990) is an American songwriter, guitarist, and singer born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He began performing at 15 in local venues in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Shreveport. LeBlanc developed an interest in music after watching his father performing at different bars and clubs. LeBlanc signed to Rough Trade Records and released his debut album “Pauper’s Field” in 2010. A song from his debut album named “If the Creek Don’t Rise” featured Emmylou Harris. He also toured and opened for big-name artists such as Calexico, George Ezra, Laura Marling, The Civil Wars, and Lucinda Williams, to support his debut album.
LeBlanc has worked with a few record labels throughout his careers, such as Rough Trade, Single Lock Records, and ATO Records. He released his second studio album entitled “Cast the Same Old Shadow” in August 2012. Right after releasing his second album, LeBlanc played on stage with Bruce Springsteen, First Aid Kit, the Alabama Shakes, and The Drive-By Truckers.
His album, Cast the Same Old Shadow was even reviewed by The Guardian. On January 15, 2016, Dylan LeBlanc released his third studio album entitled “Cautionary Tale,” and on June 7, 2019, he released his fourth entitled, “Renegade.”
