Don Broco Information
Don Broco is a British rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Tom Doyle (programming and bass guitar), Matt Donnelly (backing vocals, lead, and drums), Simon Delaney (guitar), and Rob Damiani (lead vocals). Although the band's members met in secondary school and played their first shows at Bedford Modern School, it wasn't until after they graduated from university that they officially decided to pursue a career as musicians.
Various names, such as "Summer fall" and "Club Sex," were used for the band at first. After guitarist Simon Delaney broke his wrist in a football accident, the band had to rename one of its concepts, "Don Loco," to "Don Broco." In November of 2008, they embarked on their first tour of England, making stops in various cities and towns around the country.
They supported Enter Shikari on a short tour in May of 2009, and they performed at the Camden Crawl and the Download Festival that year. Don Broco also performed at the Underage Festival in Victoria Park, London, UK, in 2009 and 2010. During the 2010 Sonisphere event, they performed on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam stage. The group opened for Enter Shikari at two of their December 2010 Christmas parties at Hatfield Forum. Don Broco also performed at the Amersham Summer Festival in September of 2010.
