Doll Skin Information
Doll Skin is a rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. The group's current lineup consists of Sydney Dolezal (lead vocals and rhythm guitar) and Meghan Herring (drums and backing vocals). The founding members met at Scottsdale's School of Rock. They have a punk, metal, alternative, and pop sound. Doll Skin has been compared to The Donnas, The Go- Go's, and The Runaways. Alternative Press, Phoenix New Times Billboard, Rock Sound, Kerrang, and Bravewords have all written about them.
In Your Face, Doll Skin's debut EP was released in October 2015 by EMP Label Group and distributed in North America by Megaforce Records (a Sony Music Entertainment/RED Distribution) division. EMP Label Group's David Ellefson produced the album. Ryan Greene, an American record producer and sound engineer who founded Area 52 Entertainment in Los Angeles, California, was the former proprietor of Crush Recording Studios in Scottsdale, Arizona, mixed In Your Face.
Doll Skin announced in April 2019 that they had signed with Hopeless Records and released their third studio album, Love Is Dead And We Killed Her, in 2019. On April 23, the band released a video for the first track, "Mark My Words," that The Craft inspired.
