Dirty Heads is an American reggae rock band. The current lineup consists of Jared "Dirty J" Watson, Dustin "Duddy B" Bushnell, Jon Olazabal, Matt Ochoa, David Foral, and Shawn Gonzalez. The band was formed in 1996 by Jared "Dirty J" Watson and Dustin "Duddy B" Bushnell, who were influenced by the local reggae and ska scene in Orange County, California. The band's debut demo CD, Dirty Demo, was released in 2007. Their music is laid back and is ideal to listen to when you are hanging out with your friends or simply relaxing. Their hits, such as Lay Me Down and Vacation, have gained popularity due to their relaxed, feel-good music.
On July 16, 2021, Dirty Heads released The Best of Dirty Heads, their first greatest hits album. Travis Barker of Blink-182 and Aimee Allen of The Interrupters contribute new songs as part of these collaborative efforts. Midnight Control, Dirty Heads' eighth studio album, was released via Better Noise Music on August 26, 2022.
