Destination Motown Information
Destination Motown is an exciting show which is performed by the Sensational Soul Cruisers. It is an 11 piece show band which consists of Stan Tartas on bass guitar, Barlotta on tenor sax, Sir Michael Winstanley on keyboards, Joe Nappy on guitar and vocals, drummer Matt Curran, Steve Hyde on trumpet, vocalists Will Williams, Pete Maurer on trombone, along with Michael Hartsfield, Taj Jay, and Angel Casado.
A long list of national artists has been guests at Soul Cruisers shows, such as Southside Johnny, Clarence Clemons, John Eddie, and Bruce Springsteen. Destination Motown is a show during which some of the greatest hits by the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, the Jackson Five, and many others are performed. It is defined as a multi-media show by an incredible live band described as a cross between Chicago and the Temptations, Kool and the Gang.
Throughout recent years, the band members have been touring up and down the East Coast and the Midwest. The Sensational Soul Cruisers have also had runs in Las Vegas to perform Destination Motown. The members are professionals at making the audience sing along and dance to all the favorite Motown hits.
