Dehd Information
Dehd is a Chicago-based indie rock trio from the United States. They formed that year. The band's members are Emily Kempf, Jason Balla, and Eric McGrady. Dehd's self-titled 2016 album was published on Maximum Pelt and featured nine tracks.
After that, in 2017, Infinity Cat Recordings released an EP titled Fire of Love, which featured six tracks. The band recorded their album using borrowed equipment in a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed warehouse over the summer of 2017. Dehd's second studio album, Water, was released in May 2019 via Fire Talk Records. The third episode of Charmed's second season on The CW used the album track "Wild" from Water.
In October 2019, Dehd supported fellow Chicago band Twin Peaks by touring the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. The epidemic caused the release of Flower of Devotion to be delayed until July 2020 instead of the previously planned spring 2020. Pitchfork, among other publications, named the CD "best new music" upon its release. The single "Bad Love" by Dehd came out on Fat Possum Records on February 14, 2022.
