Dave Bruzza Information
Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and Greensky Bluegrass pioneer Dave Bruzza has performed for almost 20 years, first with GSBG on their national tours, then as a solo artist, and finally with his band, Unsafe at any Speed. Dave was a Michigan native who took an early interest in music. He began playing the drums early and quickly became committed to mastering the instrument and exploring its many facets.
In his adolescence, he was interested in bluegrass music and was given a guitar by a pal to teach himself to play. Greensky's career began soon after his birth and hasn't slowed down much since. Every Greensky Bluegrass album has his contributions and performances. Including every concert they ever played and every tour they ever went on. Dave and his pals Jake Robinson, Seth Bernard, Susan Fawcett, and other Earthwork Music musicians founded the Michigan-based psychedelic folk rock band Airborne or Aquatic? in the early 2000s.
He has participated in their albums and played with them in several of their iterations. In 2012, he and his pal Ian Gorman released an album called "Harmony on the Fade" as a duo. Both artists were able to showcase their versatility by contributing to a compilation of unique songs on this CD.
