Dan Andriano Information
Dan Andriano (June 27, 1977) is an American musician and singer. He was born in Elgin, Illinois. Andriano was a founding member of the punk-ska band Slapstick in 1993, along with many other pals from the Elgin area. As a result, he stayed with the band through the publication of two studio albums (Lookit! and a self-titled collection) and the eventual dissolution of the ensemble in 1996. After Slapstick disbanded, he and two other former members formed Tuesday, who issued an extended play (EP) titled Early Summer in 1997 and a full-length titled Freewheelin later that same year.
Andriano joined The Falcon in 2004 to play bass on their EP God Don't Make No Trash or Up Your Ass with Broken Glass at the request of guitarist and lead vocalist Brendan Kelly. He later returned in 2006 to play bass and give vocals for their album Unicornography. As a bassist, he contributed to Ben Weasel's These Ones Are Bitter CD in 2007. Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room is the name under which Andriano performs as a one-person show. His debut album as a solo artist, Hurricane Season, came out on Asian Man Records on August 9, 2011.
Later that year, Andriano joined the Revival Tour 2011 across Europe alongside Chuck Ragan, Dave Hause of The Loved Ones, and Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem. In the following year, Andriano joined Ragan, Cory Branan, Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!, and Nathaniel Rateliff for the North American leg of The Revival Tour. On July 17, 2015, Dan Andriano's "in the Emergency Room" dropped his second studio album, "Party Adjacent."
