Crowded Streets Information
Crowded Streets is a locally-based Dave Matthews cover band that performs Dave Matthews Band (DMB) music, along with many other great 90’s Jam Bands. The group provides a stunning replica of the DMB live experience to breweries and theaters, and venues up and down the East Coast. Gabe Matthews is the frontman of the group drawn to the Dave Matthews Band when he was very young.
Gabe Matthews was highly inspired by the DMB’s songwriting and musicianship and founded a tribute band. Crowded Streets is an impressive six-piece band known for boasting the tight syncopation of the DMB’s rhythm section. Not only this, but the tribute band features the string and horn musicians that make DMB’s accurate sound.
On many occasions, Matthews and the band have hung out with DMB backstage and even spent a Super Bowl at Carter Beauford’s home. It was a dream come true for Matthews how friendly and humble the group members were. Crowded Streets leaves the fans of DMB with a newfound appreciation.
