Crosses Information
Crosses is a secondary project of Deftones artist Chino Moreno and Far guitarist Shaun Lopez. It was started in 2011 and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. Their first EP, recorded in Los Angeles's Airport Studios, was made available for free download on August 2, 2011; a higher-quality version may be purchased on the band's website.
Additional bass was provided by Duff McKagan of Velvet Revolver and Loaded, while Chris Robyn of Far played live drums. Dredg bassist Dino Campanella has also played drums for the band in concert.
As their first release since 2014, Crosses covered Cause and Effect's "The Beginning of the End" on December 24, 2020. On December 24, 2022, Crosses covered Q Lazzarus's "Goodbye Horses" for the first time.
Crosses' "Initiation/Protection" double single came out on March 18, 2022, and "Day One/Vivien" followed in October of the same year. Following the premiere of the "Vivien" music video, the pair declared the release of the EP Permanent Radiant on December 9, 2022.
On December 23, 2022, Crosses released their version of "One More Try" by George Michael. The December 23–24 release dates have been used for all three covers thus far.
