Cordovas Information
Cordovas is a famous American band formed in 2011, based in Tennessee. Since its formation, the band has matched its richly layered reflection to a sound that penetrates straight to the soul. One of the band’s full-length albums entitled “Destiny Hotel” is an exclusive work of wild poetry with wide-eyed abandon. It is a set of glorious heavy rock and roll. The album was produced by Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Beck, and Lord Huron) and recorded in Los Angeles. Cordovas has also spent three months in their second home base of Todos Santos, an artist community in the Baja California Peninsula.
Cordovas’ members have become successful by working and spending their time practicing in the barn, located at the communal farm home outside Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, the band members usually tour around the world often. They are often busy taking the stage at many leading festivals such as Stagecoach, hosting their own Tropic of Cancer Concert Series, and Newport Folk and Pickathon.
Cordovas released its self-titled debut album in 2011. Their second album was released in 2017, entitled “That Santa Fe Channel.” The band’s notable singles include “Selfish Loner,” “Storms,” and “I’m The One Who Needs You Tonight.”
