Conya Doss (June 13, 1972) is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and developed an interest in music at five. After she recorded songs with her group "Lyrik," she soon continued to pursue a solo career. She listened to Bonnie Raitt, The Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Angela Winbush, Nina Simone, and Jane Child.
In 2001, Conya Doss started her recording label, Conya Doss Songs, and began recording an album. In 2002, she released her first singles, "Good Good" and "Coffee," followed by the release of her album, entitled A Poem About Ms. Doss. The album released singles "Starship" and "You Really Hurt Me."
In 2003, Doss began recording for her second album. In 2004, she released the single "Missin' You." Just Because was then released in November 2004. In 2005, Doss began recording her third album, and after a two-year break, she released Love Rain Down in October 2006.
