Circa Survive Information
Circa Survive is one of the American rock bands formed in 2004 and based in Philadelphia (a suburb of Doylestown). Anthony Green is the bandleader. The music genres followed by the Circa Survive are Alternative rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, post-hardcore, and experimental rock. The current members included in the band are Anthony Green, Colin Frangicetto, Brendan Ekstrom, Steve Clifford, and Nick Beard.
Circa Survive was born with the union of Green and Colin Frangicetto (an old friend of Green). The band's very first release was an EP entitled “The Inuit Sessions,” which was released on March 18, 2005. The four songs included in the EP were "Act Appalled," "Suspending Disbelief," "Handshakes at Sunrise," and "The Great Golden Baby."
Circa Survive gained quick success within a short period following its debut in 2005. The debut album by the band was named Juturna, which was followed by the second album named On Letting Go (2007). Blue Sky Noise via Atlantic records was the third, whereas Violent Waves, Descensus, and The Amulet were the later albums released after one another.
Some of the past tours performed by Circa Survive were held with My Chemical Romance 2005, Mutemath, Dredg, and Mae tour, The Bamboozle tours, Vans Warped Tour, Coheed, and Cambria, Saves The Day, Thursday, Billy Talent, RockstarAlternative Press Tour, A Thousand Suns Tour, The World Contamination Tour, and with many more.
B-Sides 2010 and Appendage 2010 were another two EPs by the band. The band released two split EPs that are Sunny Day Real Estate / Circa Survive Split 7," and Circa Survive / MewithoutYou Split 7". Some of the hit singles by Circa Survive are;"Premonition of the Hex", "Rites of Investiture", "Lustration", "Sharp Practice", "Imaginary Enemy", "The Difference Between Medicine and Poison is in the Dose", "In Fear and Faith", and several more.
