Byrne and Kelly are an American duo that began performing a series of shows together called “Acoustic By Candlelight” back in 2012. Since then, the two members kept performing, and now they are well-known as Byrne and Kelly. Byrne and Kelly are driven by dynamic vocal harmonies mixing up various genres, such as Americana and traditional, to create a fresh Celtic folk sound. Their music style has been compared to that of other iconic folk-rock duos such as The Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel.
Byrne and Kelly have been awarded “Best Duo in a Concert, Pub or Festival” in 2013. Not only this, but they have also received the “Best New Album” award for “Acoustically Irish” from the Irish Music Association. Acoustically Irish reached number 1 on the Billboard, World Album number on iTunes in Canada, United States, Australia, and Amazon number 1 World Album as well as CDBaby Global Chart number 1.
Byrne and Kelly recorded their second album entitled “Live in Australia” at The Vanguard in Sydney, Australia, in June 2014. After the album was released, it quickly became the number 1 World Album on CDBaby, Amazon, iTunes, and Billboard. Their latest album, entitled Echoes, is the collection of nine original tracks.
