Jeremy Alsop is an American comedian who is better known as Burpie. He is from Bowling Green, VA, and currently lives in Charlotte, NC. Burpie is best-known for his appearances on Joking Off, an MTV show. He was one of the new cast members on Season 8, and in Season 15, he returned as a recurring cast member of Wild’ N Out, the famous improv comedy show on MTV. Currently, Burpie hosts Power98FM, a Charlotte, NC’s radio station.
In 2009, Burpie jumped into the comedy scene, and since then, there has been looking back. He has opened for some well-known personalities such as Katt Williams, Dave Attell, Dave Chappelle, and Nene Leakes. Before appearing as a staple on MTV’s “Wild N Out” and “Joking Off,” he was on Shaquille O’Neal presents Shaqs Next Allstar and Last Comic Standing.
Burpie was selected as a finalist in “Miller Lite Comedy Search” by Kevin Hart. He is loved by his fans for his never-ending high energy and very animated style of comedy. His unique style keeps his fans interested and entertained throughout.
