In the United States, the indie rock band Buddha Trixie hails from San Diego, California. Three members of the band, guitarist Andrew Harris, singer/drummer Daniel Cole, and bassist Dennis Moon, all attended Park Village Elementary School as children. They grew up together, sharing in each other's difficult stages of development.
They were able to channel that unbreakable bond into a sick cover of John Mayer's song "Gravity," which all of the parents who attended their middle school graduation messed with extremely hard. A good number of years later, Kenzo Mann finally joined the band, bringing with him some sizzling synths and guitar. They decide to stop playing "Gravity" and concentrate on writing their music instead. Their previous parent-based fandom claims that they have evolved. It's okay. The new songs that Daniel has written are quite popular among younger listeners.
Every song that they record quickly climbs to the top of the charts. They never travel to Mars because, in their words, the crowds there are "crazy." Instead, they only tour the planet Earth. Even though they are now swimming in money and celebrity, the four haven't lost touch with their humble beginnings; just like Charlie and his grandparents in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, they continue to sleep in the same bed.
