Brandon Hardesty Information
Brandon Allan Hardesty (April 13, 1987) is an American comedic performer and actor. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. While studying at Baltimore Lutheran School, one of Hardesty’s teachers convinced him to act in theater productions. Later he went to college, where he majored in film while making YouTube videos on the side. One of his videos, entitled “Strange Faces and Noises I Can Make III,” caught the attention of producer Edwin Marshall.
Hardesty started his channel by the name “Artie TSMI TW.” It is an abbreviation for “Artie: The Strongest Man in the World.” His Re-enactment videos are the most popular ones where he chooses a movie scene and then re-enacts it while playing all the characters. Hardesty has also parodied the internet sensation 2 Girls 1 Cup with “1 Guy 1 Lunchable”. To date, his videos have even been featured on the first page of YouTube.
A producer of the film, Bart Got a Room, emailed Hardesty in September 2007, upon watching his YouTube videos. He showed his interest in casting him for a supporting role. After that first film, Hardesty continued giving auditions for films and television shows and eventually landed a role in American Pie Presents: The Book of Love.
Hardesty was cast as a lead in a CBS pilot entitled “Living On A Prayer” from 2009 to 2012. Some of the other films in which he has appeared so far include The Bill Collector (2010), Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011), Ham Sandwich (2011), and South Park (2012).
