Blue October Information
Blue October is an American alternative rock band that is from Houston, Texas. It was formed in the year 1995 by the lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter Justin Furstenfeld along with his brother Ryan Delahoussaye (multi-instrumentalist). The current members included in Blue October are Will Knaak (lead guitar), Matt Noveskey (bass guitar, backing vocals), Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums, percussion), and the two leader brothers.
Blue October was discovered by Michael Rand, former Kid Rock manager, performing at the Papadeaux Cafe in Houston (1998). He brought the band to Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris. Blue October eventually moved to San Marcos, Texas, and got signed to Universal Records (1999). Since then, the band has had around 40 top singles over the past seven studio albums.
The studio albums by Blue October are The Answers (1998), Consent to Treatment (2000), History for Sale (2003), Foiled (2006), Approaching Normal (2009), Any Man in America (2011), Sway (2013), Home (2016), and I Hope You're Happy (2018). Some of the live albums by Blue October are Argue with a Tree..., Live at Lollapalooza 2006, Foiled for the Last Time, Ugly Side: An Acoustic Evening with Blue October, and a few more. Foiled Again and Debris are the two EPs by the band.
Blue October also released several hit singles among which, a few ones are; "Breakfast After 10", "Home", "I Hope You're Happy", "Dirt Room", "The Worry List", "Daylight", "King", "Angels in Everything", "The Chills”, and many more.
