Blossoms Information
Blossoms is an English pop band. The current lineup of the group consists of Myles Kellock, Joe Donovan, Josh Dewhurst, Charlie Salt, and Tom Ogden. The first album's tracks were laid down in September 2015. The band Blossoms revealed "Charlemagne" as the title of their next single on October 4, 2015, and it was made available on streaming services like iTunes and Spotify the following day, October 5. The three-track Charlemagne EP was published on October 30, 2015, and features the previously mentioned song. ("Across the Moor," "For Evelyn," and "Polka Dot Bones").
Blossoms issued the single "At Most a Kiss" and the EP's accompanying video on January 5, 2016. Blossoms covered WSTRN's "In2" on Radio 1 Live Lounge as part of their EP promotion. On January 22, 2016, they released an announcement saying that production for their debut album was finished. While Blossoms were amid their third headlining tour, their opening act, Viola Beach, was tragically killed in a vehicle accident on February 13, 2016—along with the band's manager.
For the remaining tour dates, Blossoms filled the slot that Viola Beach would have performed by playing a recorded set from a Royal Leamington Spa performance. On February 23, 2016, the At Most a Kiss EP was made available. On the 37th annual Brit Awards, they were up against Rag'n'Bone Man for Best Breakthrough Act but ultimately came up short. They debuted "Getaway" on BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac's Show on April 12, 2016, and the track was made available on streaming services and digital music stores like iTunes and Spotify at midnight that same day.
