Birdtalker Information
Birdtalker is a Nashville, Tennessee-based American indie-folk band. Jesse Baker, Brian Seligman, Andy Hubright, Dani, and Zack Green make up the band's current roster. Zack and Dani married in 2012, and shortly afterward, they attempted to write a couple of songs together.
Andy, a college friend, and a fantastic drummer, became engrossed in the songs and began pounding on the drums while Zack and Dani performed. It sounded promising. Brian became interested in contributing his enormous talent to the mix. These three played the songs at Shakespeare in the Park one August day and began playing along with the mandolin and guitar.
Zack and Dani make songs to express their feelings on topics that are important to them. Playing music has shown to be an effective means of communication and connection, both inside the band and with listeners. Birdtalker hopes that the more songs they produce and share, the more genuine and vulnerable conversations will emerge.
