Asking Alexandria is a British rock band composed of Ben Bruce, Cameron Liddell, James Cassells, Danny Worsnop, and Sam Bettley. One description of the band's approach is metalcore, a blend of extreme metal and hardcore punk. Rock bands like Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Mötley Crüe shape their work. Asking Alexandria first emerged in 2006. That same year, they debuted their EP "Tomorrow. Hope. Goodbye." The band debuted three straight in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 from its inception.
Their singles "Final Episode (Let's Change the Channel)" and "Not the American Average" have been certified gold. Asking Alexandria has headlined events on five continents and has featured Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, and Slipknot.
May 2020 saw the release of Alexandria's sixth studio album, "Like a House on Fire." According to lead guitarist Ben Bruce, there is something for everyone on this, maybe their greatest record ever. Asking Alexandria started their U.S. headline tour, including Florida-based metalcore band Wage War and Las Vegas rock band Falling in Reverse, to advertise their new album.
