It's meant as more of a wink than a sup to the cannabis community. It results from four years of hard work in uninspired environments like basements, pubs, vans, and disappointment. Zach Dunham (guitar/vocals), Adam McLean (drums), Quincy Platt (bass), and Dan Strief (guitar/vocals) are long-time friends who have overcome youth and are now actively seeking adulthood. The Raleigh, North Carolina band Arson Daily has tried to expand beyond its roots in garage rock by trying different composing approaches.
Arson Daily's latest album, Late Reflections, was written almost entirely on acoustic instruments, with the electric instruments left in their noisy home studio. After carefully tending to the song's essence, they'd bring it into the studio to be shaped, layer by layer, into their vision, which included elements of surf-western, Nashville garage rock, and indie radio trash.
Philadelphia's Mo Lowda and the Humble helped record and create Late Reflections. With Late Reflections, you'll feel the thrill of success while you struggle with the trepidation and longing that come with any transition. Everything in Late Reflections is about being yourself, even though you might get laughed out of the room.
