Andy Sydow is a singer-songwriter who dabbles in many genres. Sydow constantly tours solo and with a backing band, demonstrating his skill as a multi-instrumentalist and the poetic realism of his lyrical imagery. He can switch gears during a performance, surprising listeners with acoustic guitar ballads, a slide guitar solo, and even a boogie-woogie keyboard performance. His voice is evocative of Paul Simon and Jackson Browne, and his style blends roots rock (à la Tom Petty) and pop (à la Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats).
While not touring in 2020, Andy put out a three-song EP called Wicked Dreams EP, praised by publications like Post To Wire and Bandwagon Magazine. Andy brought the song "Still My Girl" to life with 4,000 original stick figure drawings, and he and his team produced videos for all three songs; one is rated PG-13.
Later in the year, he dropped a medley of Gold Dust Woman and The Chain by Fleetwood Mac and three more songs titled "Hard Times Are Alright," "My Friend," and "Piece of the Valley." Andy dressed as Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks to spoof the iconic Rumours cover, and the resulting artwork for the ladder is hysterical. In the first days of 2021, he dropped a new three-song EP titled Time. Love. Everywhere.
