Almost Monday Information
Almost Monday is an American indie pop trio. The current lineup consists of Luke Fabry (bass), Cole Clisby (guitar), and Dawson Daugherty (vocals). Daugherty and Fabry have known each other long; they were childhood buddies. Daugherty and Clisby first became acquainted through surfing. While Clisby studied at UC San Diego, Daughtery and Fabry traveled to Point Loma Nazarene. The name The Mondays were already in use, so they settled on Almost Monday instead.
This band just dropped their debut single, titled "Broken People," on April 22, 2019. This song peaked at #27 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay charts. Their single "Come On Come On" came out May 29, 2020. Don't Say You're Ordinary is their debut EP, recorded in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn, and set for release on Hollywood Records on October 9, 2020. Mark Needham produced, and Simon Oscroft mixed the EP.
Its first song, "Live Forever," was released on January 26, 2021. Both "Sunburn" (issued on April 8, 2022) and "Sun Keeps on Shining" (released on June 3, 2022) were singles from that year. When they went on tour in 2022, they were supported by Joywave and The Driver Era. On October 5, 2022, they dropped the song "Cough Drops."
