Agent Orange Information
Agent Orange is a punk rock band that was formed in 1979 in Placentia, California. The group is known as the first band to mix surf music with punk rock. The band's current lineup consists of Mike Palm (guitar and lead vocals), Perry Giordano (bass and backing vocals), and Dave Klein (drums and backing vocals). Agent Orange gained initial attention for its song entitled "Bloodstains." It originally appeared on the band's self-released debut 7" EP that was released in 1980.
Agent Orange recorded its debut studio album entitled "Living In Darkness" with Brian Elliot, who is best known for composing the hit "Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna. The record was officially released in 1981 by Posh Boy. After this release, Agent Orange signed a record deal with Enigma Records. This time, the band released another hit extended play that included 12 tracks. The EP was entitled "When You Least Expect It" and released in 1983. In 1986, the following album was "This Is the Voice."
Agent Orange has worked with several record labels, including Posh Boy Records, Enigma Records, Restless Records, Invisible Records, Gunka Disc, and Anarchy Music. The group released its third studio album entitled "Virtually Indestructible" in 1996.
Their notable singles include "Everything Turns Grey," "Secret Agent Man," "Eldorado," "The Electric Storm," "Bloodstains," "and "This House Is Haunted." Some of the band's live albums include "Real Live Sound" that was released in 1991 under Restless Records.
