Throughout the holiday season, the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, hosts an event called A Night of Love. Fans can witness breakthrough R&B musicians sharing the stage for a single night. Fantasia, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Keyshia Cole have all been featured as headliners at this event recently. Fantasia generated singles such as "I Believe" and "When I See U" after she triumphed in the third season of American Idol.
Following their departure from the supergroup New Edition, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe came together to form the group Bell Biv DeVoe. "Poison" and "Do Me!" are only two of the massive successes that Bell Biv DeVoe has produced since then. In 2018, the musical A Night of Love featured performances by Keyshia Cole and Anthony Hamilton.
