Willam Information
Willam Belli (June 30, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and drag queen born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While competing on the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2012, Willam gained widespread attention after being eliminated during the "Frenemies" challenge. Willam had a career in acting before he appeared on Drag Race; he is most known for his recurring role as transgender lady Cherry Peck in Ryan Murphy's Nip/Tuck.
She has kept appearing in movies, TV shows, and web series, frequently donning the drag. She appeared in 2018's A Star Is Born, which received rave reviews. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for her role in the dark comedic web series EastSiders. Willam has released three albums of comedy music since 2012. These albums generally feature parodies of well-known songs.
Shartistry in Motion, her second album, entered the Billboard Comedy Albums chart at number one. Between 2012 to 2014, she was a member of the group DWV (along with drag queens Vicky Vox and Detox), and the trio's music videos for the parodies "Chow Down" and "Boy Is a Bottom" went viral. Willam founded the AAA Girls alongside Courtney Act and Alaska Thunderfuck after the dissolution of DWV.
