Seth Rudetsky Information
Seth Dennis Rudetsky (February 28, 1967) is an American musician, radio host, writer, and actor. He grew up in North Woodmere, New York. Currently, Rudetsky is the host of Seth’s Big Fat Broadway, and Seth Speaks on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s On Broadway. He completed his graduation from Hewlett High School in Hewlett, New York. He also attended Oberlin College-Conservatory of Music in 1988 and held a degree in Piano Performance.
Rudetsky wrote and performed in a renowned one-man show called, Rhapsody in Seth in 2003. He most often tours with variations on his show. Rudetsky has also appeared in the Series Finale of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. He also played a star in an Off-Off-Broadway production entitled Torch Song Trilogy from November 27 through December 10, 2006.
From September 2007 through December 2007, Rudetsky has also appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of The Ritz. The same year, he performed as a contestant on Episode 111 of the US version of Cash Cab. He has played a role in the MTV reality show Legally Blonde: The Musical - The Search for Ellie Woods. He performed as a vocal coach for the contestants in that competition.
Rudetsky has also proven himself as a musician. He is majorly known for his Piano Performance at Oberlin. Rudetsky has performed on a variety of shows so far. He accompanied LuPone in concert, demonstrating his talent for on-sight transposition.
