Peepshow Information
Peepshow presents fresh figures for pop/most rock's ambitious concepts by fusing appealing rock & roll beats with silvery pop melodies. Peepshow was founded in late 1998 in Seattle, Washington, by guitarist Adam Stackpole. Before drummer Chase Culp and bassist, Blake Micheletto completed the group in late 1999, vocalist Brian Armstrong and piano pro-Bobby Lohnes joined the following year.
The band went into the studio to make their first demo after acquiring the services of producer Scott Olsen, who had previously worked with bands like Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit, and Powerman 5000. The Seattle music scene quickly caught wind of their distinctive songs, which propelled the band to regular radio play and finally inspired positive press coverage. Due to their inspiring and compelling concerts, Peepshow has become a significant live tradition. The band decided to record Serenity, released in record stores later that same year, as their first full-length album in 2001.
