Michel Tremblay, a Canadian playwright, penned the play titled "The Real World?" in 1987. After initially writing in French and given the title Le Vrai Monde?, it was afterward translated into English. The plot revolves around a young playwright named Claude who incorporates his real-life parents into the first play he ever writes.
When we go from his actual parents to Claude's imagined reality as portrayed in his fake play, his birth parents do not believe it is an authentic picture of them. Claude's fictitious play features his parents. The Real Wurld?, a production of the Tron Theatre that was produced as part of Glasgow Mayfest in 1991, was a translation of the play into current Scots by Bill Findlay and Martin Bowman.
