Jubilee Information
The college has made many developments over the past two years regarding its annual Jubilee Conference, which focuses on faith and college life. The conference returned to in-person gatherings in 2022 after struggling to keep up with pandemic-related challenges.
The college students gathered, listening to inspirational speakers, attending workshops, and learning how one’s Christian faith can be lived out in each aspect of one’s life—from studies to relationships. In the 2022 iteration, students discussed how faith could bring change during restoration-themed events; the theme aligned with students being invited to discuss societal challenges.
The conference would build momentum again in 2023 with a new lineup of speakers and sessions. Attendees were asked to think about how their faith can be used to solve real-world problems, including environmental stewardship, mental health, and leadership. This year’s conference furthered the dialogue of how the Gospel can and does change people’s personal lives and communities, attracting more young adults wanting to be part of a meaningful change.
With this in mind, the 2024 Jubilee Conference will enhance what was achieved in 2023 with more interactive sessions and student networking opportunities. It still serves an important purpose, providing a place for young Christians to thoughtfully explore their faith in real-world contexts and get a feel for real-world challenges ahead.
