Joe Mande (March 16, 1983) is an American actor, writer, and stand-up comedian. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In April 2009, Joe Mande, then a young web developer, launched "Look at this Fucking Hipster" (LATFH.com) to respond to his father's question, "Is that a hipster?" Within months, it gained millions of fans and dozens of parodies, becoming a cultural phenomenon widely discussed in the media, newspapers, blogs, and elsewhere; its author eventually published a book titled Look at This F*cking Hipster.
Mande has been featured on several popular talk programs, including The Half Hour on Comedy Central, VH1's Best Week Ever, and Conan. For the last three seasons of the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, Mande was not only a writer but also a regular cast member, starring in seven episodes as Pawnee local Morris Lerpiss. He has also contributed to the scripts of the Adult Swim series Delocated and the Comedy Central series Kroll Show.
He portrayed Todd in James Franco's The Disaster Artist and served as a producer for the first season of Aziz Ansari's Master of None on Netflix. In addition to working on Parks and Recreation, he has contributed to Mike Schur's The Good Place, a comedy on NBC. Joe Mande's Award-Winning Comedy Special was published on Netflix in 2017.
