Jane Krakowski Information
Jane Krakowski (October 11, 1968) is an American actress, singer, and comedian. She was born and raised in Parsipanny-Troy Hills, New Jersey. At the age of four, Krakowski started taking ballet lessons but soon stopped because of her wrong body shape. She then didn’t move towards Broadway dancing. She attended Parsipanny High School, the Professional Children’s School in New York City, and Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
Krakowski made her first television appearance as Theresa Rebecca “T.R” Kendall in the soap opera by NBC named Search for Tomorrow. After the show was ended on December 26, 1986, Krakowski was nominated twice in Daytime Emmy Awards in 1986 and 1987. Krakowski was also cast in the NBC comedy series 30 Rock in 2006. She received nominations in 30 Rock during 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.
Krakowski has also been cast in the Netflix comedy series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She played the role of Jacqueline White. She received Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the series as well. As a singer, Krakowski released her debut solo album on July 15, 2010. The album included mostly cover versions entitled Laziest Gal in Town. The album was released through DRG Records.
Krakowski’s film appearances include My Little Pony: A New Generation (2021), The Willoughbys (2020), Henchmen (2018), Mildred & The Dying Parlor (2015), Pixels (2015), Big Stone Gap (2014), Adult Beginners (2014), Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant (2009), and several others.
