Fahim Anwar is an American actor, writer, and stand-up comedian. He has appeared at the JUST FOR LAUGHS FESTIVAL in Montreal as one of the “New Faces.” A comedy regular in Los Angeles and a finalist in NBC-Stand-Up Universals for Diversity Showcase. Anwar made his television debut in 2010 with a recurring role on NBC’s CHUCK. He most recently appeared in season three of FOX’s LIE TO ME.
Anwar was a series regular on MTV’s Disaster Date in seasons 2 and 3 and on Comedy Central’s Russell Simmons Presents: Stand Up From The El Rey Theatre and Showtime’s Californication in season 4. He’s also appeared as a commentator on E! Entertainment’s Celebrity Oops! specials. Anwar continues to write and star in his series of internet films, with several of them going viral and getting published on sites such as Reddit, Digg, and Break.
Anwar’s has recently worked for many films and appeared in several television shows. His credits include “Superior Donuts,” “Carmichael Show,” “Drunk History,” and “Neighbors.” He is currently serving as a head writer and starring on a sketch show special for Comedy Central. He appears on the show with his comedy group, GOATFACE, which includes Hasan Minhaj of The Daily Show.
