ZZKC - Tribute to ZZ Top Information
ZZ-KC, formerly known as Eliminator KC, is considered one of America’s top touring ZZ Top tribute productions. This Kansas City band has been performing at major venues and events for over a decade cross-country. The ZZ-KC has traveled coast-to-coast and performed at some of America’s most renowned venues and has proudly shared the stage with greats, including B.B. King, 38 Special, Foghat, and Steppenwolf.
ZZ-KC consists of vocalist and guitarist DW or “D’Wood” who proudly hails from Kansas City, Missouri. He bought his first guitar in 1971, and since then, he has been offering phenomenal renditions of trademark guitar licks along with blues rooted vocals that are the primary essence of ZZ Top. D’Wood has performed all across the nation for over two decades, and was selected as Keith Richards in the internationally praised Rolling Stones experience called “Satisfaction.”
Vocalist and bassist Bobby K. (Northern California) is a former member of the Jimmie Van Zant Band. This man is known for bringing over twenty years of musical experience to the stage and displaying his unparalleled ability to recreate the legendary vocals, bass lines, and persona of the world-renowned legend, Dusty Hill.
Drummer Brian Eads, another skilled musician in the band, played his first show in Lexington, MO, in 1966. Brian has toured North America extensively, and his recording success includes chart hits in Europe as well. Together, the three musicians know how to entertain ZZ Top fans with a great tribute show on stage.
