Yandel became famous in the early 2000s as part of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. They released big hits like “Rakata” and “Pam Pam” and won a Grammy Award in 2009. In 2003, he also started his solo career with the album Quien Contra Mí. He continued to grow as a solo artist and released De Líder a Leyenda in 2013, which went on to reach Gold status. His music blends reggaeton with pop and hip-hop, and he is known for songs like “Encantadora” and “Nunca Me Olvides.”
Over the years, he has worked with many well-known artists. He has teamed up with Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Jennifer Lopez. In 2015, he released the album “Dangerous,” which featured the hit “Moviendo Caderas.” He also released an album with producer Tainy, titled Dynasty, in 2021. He won two Latin Grammy Awards for the song “Encantadora” in 2016. Even after Wisin & Yandel’s final tour in 2023, he continued making music and performing on his own.
In 2025, Yandel will be on his SINFÓNICO USA Tour. This tour, which began on May 30, features his reggaeton songs performed with a full orchestra. He is visiting cities like Miami, Orlando, New York, and Chicago. The tour supports his latest album, ELYTE, released in October 2024. It features songs with artists such as Tego Calderón, Myke Towers, and Feid. Fans are excited to hear his music performed live and powerfully, accompanied by a full orchestra.
