Anthony "Romeo" Santos (July 21, 1981) is an American record producer, singer, and songwriter born in New York City. Romeo fronted Aventura as its primary vocalist, lyricist, and co-producer. In 1994, Anthony "Romeo" Santos, his cousin Henry "Hustle Hard" Santos, and their buddies Lenny "Len Melody" Santos and Max "Mikey, a.k.a. Max Agende" Santos, created the gang Aventura.
Aventura's lead vocalist and songwriter, Romeo, announced his departure from the group in April 2011 to focus on a solo career. On April 7, 2011, Romeo Santos became a Sony Music Latin recording artist. Romeo Santos confirmed the release of a new album on February 8, 2022. Santos confirmed the news via YouTube and other social media after it had only been speculation.
Since the album is titled Formula, Vol. 3, it is safe to assume that it is the third installment in the Formula series. Fans hoped his third studio album would be included in the third edition. But Golden was the name he chose for his third studio album, and Utopia for his fourth.
He performed for nine consecutive sold-out nights at Santiago, Chile's Movistar Arena, in March 2023. He performed nightly from March 21 through March 30 (except for March 27). On May 20 and 21, 2023, Romeo would perform in Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, making history once again—all three of his shows at a stadium with a capacity of 35,000 people sold out.
