Voz Veis Information
Voz Veis was a prominent Venezuelan vocal trio known for their distinctive sound and beautiful harmonies. Maracaibo, Venezuela, was the group's site. It was founded in 1991. The original lineup included Ricardo Cepeda, Oscar Salas, and Carlos Enrique Mejía. Luis Fernando Franco and Gerardo "Gerry" Montiel later joined, bringing their total number of members to five.
Voz Veis gained fame due to their cappella performances, highlighting their beautiful voices and impeccable harmony. Their music frequently fused several forms, including pop, jazz, and traditional Venezuelan music, and they became famous both in Venezuela and worldwide.
After signing a deal in 2007 to have 10,000 copies of their CD "¿Cómo Se Llega a Belén?" distributed by the local Venezuelan daily Diario La Verdad. Being the first Venezuelan group ever to win a Latin Grammy, the group's 2008 single "Ven A Mi Casa Esta Navidad" (made by Salto Angel Media) was the best children's album and short-form music video.
Their 2010 studio album "Acústico... Una Noche Común y Sin Corriente" was the last offering by the Venezuelan sextet Voz Veis. Beginning with 1997's Lo Mejor Aún Está Por Venir, they recorded seven studio albums. A total of six members—Carlos Labrador, Luis Fernando "Luigi" Castillo, Gustavo González, Santiago Castillo, and Luis Enrique Leal—served as lead vocalists for the band.
