Too Slim and the Traildraggers is an American blues-rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Jeffrey “Shakey” Fowlkes (drums), Zach Kasik (bass and vocals), and Tim “Too Slim” Langford (lead vocals and guitar). The band was formed in Spokane, Washington, in 1986.
Too Slim and the Traildraggers has released 14 studio albums to date. The band has five live albums as well. Their albums Blood Moon (2016), Blue Heart (2013), Shiver (2011), Free Your Mind (2009), and The Fortune Teller (2007), all these albums reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Top Blues Albums reaching number 6, 3, 9, 5, and 5 respectively.
Too Slim and the Traildraggers was named “Best Blues Band” by the Inland Empire Blues Society for four consecutive years. The albums Blues for EB and Swamp Opera were also named Best Albums. For 11 consecutive years, the band was named “Best Regional Band” by the Cascade Blues Association.
In 2012, the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Too Slim and the Traildraggers by the Washington State Blues Society. Shiver was also nominated for the Rock Blues Album at the Blues Music Awards in 2012.
Notable studio albums include Swinging in the Underworld (1988), Rock ‘em Dead (1990), El Rauncho Grundge (1992), King Size Troublemakers (2000), Tales of Sin, and Redemption (2003), Shiver 9 (2011), and a few more.
