Tomberlin Information
Sarah Beth Tomberlin (April 6, 1995) is an American contemporary folk singer, songwriter, and musician. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida. Her family uprooted itself five times before settling in Fairfield, Illinois, where her father became a Baptist preacher. Tomberlin began writing songs for her debut album when she was 16 years old after she had already graduated from high school and attended college for a brief time.
Tomberlin's first full-length studio album, At Weddings, was published by Saddle Creek Records 2018. Reviews of the album were mostly favorable. In addition to the release of the Busy Philipps-directed music video for the song "Wasted" on August 18, 2020, she also announced the release of a new EP titled Projections, set for October 16, 2020.
Tomberlin announced her second studio album, "I don't know who needs to hear this...," in 2022. The album was released on April 29, 2022. Upon its initial release, the album received glowing reviews. Starting Angel Olsen's current tour supporting her sixth studio album Big Time is Tomberlin in the United Kingdom and the European Union (2022).
