Bush Information
Bush is a British rock band that came together in London back in 1992. Gavin Rossdale (vocals, rhythm guitar), Chris Traynor (lead guitar), Corey Britz (bass), and Nik Hughes (drums) make up the current lineup of the group.
After releasing their debut album, Sixteen Stone, in 1994, Bush saw instant success outside of the UK. Since then, the Recording Industry Association of America has certified the record six times as multi-platinum. Selling over 10 million albums in the US and 20 million records globally, they became one of the most successful rock bands of the '90s.
Bush's song titled "Bullet Holes" was confirmed for inclusion in the next film, John Wick: Chapter 3: Parabellum, on May 10, 2019. On May 17, 2019, the song and the music video were made public.
Rossdale claimed in late May that Bush's attendance at music festivals with a heavy metal band predominance inspired the new album and that he had been listening to System of a Down in particular while writing the new material.
Bush released the album's lead song, "More Than Machines," on July 27, 2022. The members announced the release of their ninth album, The Art of Survival, on October 7. On September 16, "Heavy Is the Ocean," the album's second single, was made available to the public.
Blabbermouth revealed on September 5, 2023, that Bush would release their second greatest hits album later that year, the first to include any post-2010 reunion work.
