Together Pangea Information
Together Pangea is an American rock band. The current lineup consists of Erik Jimenez (drums), Danny Benston (bass), and William Keegan (guitar and vocals). The band is based out of Los Angeles, California, and originally from Santa Clarita, California. Together Pangea started playing shows on the California Institute of the Arts campus. They also performed at many local venues throughout Southern California. The band was originally formed as Pangea initially, but they had to change their name to Together Pangea due to some problems. In 2010, the band released its debut record, Jelly Jam, through Lost Sound Tapes.
Together Pangea released its second full-length album in 2011 entitled, Living Dummy, through Burger Records. Soon after the album's release, they started performing with The Black Lips, Wavves, Mikal Cronin, and Ty Segall. Together Pangea dubbed the Burgerama Caravan of Stars on their first national tour. They shared the stage with Curtis Harding, The Resonars, Cosmonauts, and Gap Dream.
Together Pangea released its third full-length album through Harvest Records in 2014 entitled, Badillac. The album was called one of MTV's most anticipated indie releases of 2014. After the album's release, Together Pangea embarked on a national tour with The Firstborn and Mozes. From February to March 2015, the band toured throughout Europe. The next month, they supported The Replacements at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. On October 16, 2015, the band also released the six-track EP, The Phage, which Tommy Stinson produced.
