Thousand Below Information
Thousand Below is an American rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Max Santoro, Josh Billimoria, Josh Thomas, and James Deberg. James Deberg, the former lead singer for Outlands, quietly started a new band in 2016 titled Thousand Below. Deberg's friend and guitarist Josh Thomas played him some of his recent compositions, and the two hit it off and agreed to work together.
The band's original lineup was completed after they recruited local friends and musicians (Josh Billimoria on bass, Devin Chance on guitar, and Garrett Halvax on drums) and entered the studio to begin recording their debut album, The Love You Let Too Close (2017). After completing their demo, the band approached record companies discreetly, eventually drawing the attention of Rise Records. Soon after signing with Rise, the band completed their debut album, The Love You Let Too Close, and released its first song and music video in January 2017.
Released on June 12, 2017, "Sinking Me" is the second song from a larger body of work. The album debuted on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart upon its global release on October 6, 2017. The band released a single music video named "Gone To Me" in February of 2021. In the autumn of 2021, they toured the United Kingdom alongside Normandie and Caskets. In May of 2022, they embarked on their first headlining tour of the United States and performed at the So What Music Festival.
