Thom Yorke Information
Thom Yorke (October 7, 1968) is an English singer, multi-instrumentalist, and musician. He is also the primary songwriter for Radiohead (an alternative rock band formed by him). Yorke mainly plays keyboards and guitar. He was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame among other members of Radiohead in 2019. He is also known by many different names such as Sisi Bakbak, Zachariah Wildwood, Thmx, Schock, and some more. Yorke got his very first guitar when he was only seven. This guy was inspired by Brian May (Queen guitarist). At the age of ten, he practiced his guitar. By the age of eleven, Yorke wrote his first song and joined his first band.
Radiohead was formed by Thom Yorke along with his schoolmates. “Creep” was an early hit by this band. The fourth album released by Radiohead named “Kid A” moved the band into an electronic music era. The Bends, OK Computer, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, The King of Limbs, A Moon Shaped Pool, and a few more are some major releases by Radiohead.
Yorke also created some solo work based upon electronic music generally such as The Eraser, Harrowdown Hill, Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, Anima, and Analyse (nominated for the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album).
Yorke also provided vocals for "The White Flash," "Shipwreck", "This," "...And the World Laughs with You", "Electric Candyman," and "Náttúra."
