Mike Keneally (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Scott Thunes (bass, and vocals), Ray White (guitar, and vocals), and Robert Martin (keyboards, sax, and vocals) were all a part of Frank Zappa's original band, The Zappa Band. Joe Travers (drums and vocals) and Jamie Kime (guitar) have also been in the band at various times. The Zappa Band's live performances typically feature several of Frank Zappa's most well-known songs, including "The Torture Never Stops," "Stairway to Heaven," "Watermelon in Easter Hay," and "Cocaine Decisions."
Throughout his legendary career, Frank Zappa created innumerable studio albums; many more were published after his death. Among his most well-known works are albums like 1969's Hot Rats, 1973's Over-Nite Sensation, 1972's The Grand Wazoo, and 1975's One Size Fits. The Concord Pavilion in Concord, California; the Artpark Amphitheater in Lewiston, New York; the Miller High Life Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts, are just a few of the places you can catch the Zappa Band on their current tour across the United States.
