The Weeks Information
The Weeks is an American rock band. The current lineup consists of Damien Bone (bass), Cain Barnes (drums), Samuel Williams (guitar and vocals), and Cyle Barnes (lead vocals). Cain Barnes, Chaz Lindsay, Cyle Barnes, Damien Bone, and Samuel Williams started the band in March 2006, between the ages of 14 and 16. Comeback Cadillac, the band's debut album, was released in July 2008 on the Esperanza Plantation label.
The album featured a duet with labelmate Allie Peden on "Sailor Song," which mixed southern rock and alternative. Rumspringa, their first EP, was released in 2009. After several lineup changes, the band went to Nashville, Tennessee leaving them with a four-piece consisting of the Barnes twins, Bone and Williams. They returned to Water Valley, Mississippi, in March 2011 to work with Winn McElroy at his Black Wings Studio on the eight tracks that make up the 12" EP "Gutter Gaunt Gangster," which will be released on Esperanza Plantation on October 11, 2011.
They toured with Junior Astronomers, Local H, North Mississippi All-Stars, Sol Cat, and The Meat Puppets for the following six months. Gutter Gaunt Gangster was re-released on September 25, 2012, when Kings of Leon signed with Serpents & Snakes, their new record company. Dear Bo Jackson, their second full-length album, was released in 2013. The release of Easy in 2017 was followed by the release of Two Moons in the summer of 2019.
