The Machine - Pink Floyd Tribute is one of the oldest U.S. Pink Floyd tribute bands founded in 1988. The group originated from New York City, New York, and was formed by Tahrah Cohen (drums) and Joe Pascarell (guitar, vocals). The other band members include Scott Chasolen (keyboards, vocals) and Dylan Kelehan (bass, vocals). The Machine began as a cover band that used to play local gigs in the Rockland County, NY area and not a Pink Floyd tribute.
The Machine - Pink Floyd Tribute has played thousands of shows worldwide. The tribute band has also faced several lineup changes so far. The group faced the most significant change in December 2012, when Pascarell left the band. He had previously left the band in 2000. Ryan Ball became the lead guitarist in 2013 while Adam Minkoff joined on bass. Ball left the band in 2018 and was replaced by a longtime friend of the band named Stephen Bard.
