The Kooks Information
The Kooks is an English pop-rock band. The current lineup consists of Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, and Alexis Nuñez. The Kooks' debut album, Inside In/Inside Out (2006), propelled them into the mainstream music scene only three months after the band's formation and a record deal with Virgin Records. As a result of its success, the album was certified platinum in Australia and two times platinum in Ireland within a year of its release in the United Kingdom.
The Kooks have scheduled the release of their fifth studio album for August 31, 2018, as of May 16, 2018. Earlier this year, they performed two new songs, "No Pressure" and "All the Time," on their South American leg of The Best Of Tour. Before the album's complete release, many singles, such as "No Pressure," "All the Time," and "Fractured and Dazed," were made available.
Live performances by the Kooks resumed with Jonathan Harvey on bass at the Tramlines Festival on July 23, 2021. They announced the album 10 Tracks to Echo in the Dark and its accompanying EP Connection in January 2022. Released in April 2022, "Beautiful World" features German duo Milky Chance. The band released a new track titled "Cold Heart" in June of 2022.
