The Haunt Information
The Haunt is an American rock band. The group's current lineup consists of Sage Duval, Steph Pino, Rob Kingsley, and Felipe Silva. Around the time when Anastasia was 12 years old, she and Maxamillion Haunt started playing locally, writing songs, and distributing them. Maxamillion Haunt, the E.P.'s lead singer and guitarist, collaborated with musician and producer Josh Diaz on the project. The first song, "All Went Black," from the E.P., was released, and it was very personal, discussing Anastasia's experiences with bullying and how she overcame them with the help of the band.
The song's critical acclaim allowed the band to release three more singles before the album's official release. After the album, The Haunt supported the Fashion-Rock band Palaye Royale on their North American and European tour dates. The Haunt came back from tour and recorded two singles ("Why Are You So Cold?" and "Cigarettes & Feelings") that would be released separately from an album.
Afterward, they entered the studio to work on a new "Social Intercourse E.P." with From First to Last guitarist/producer Matt Good. Except for "Permanent," each of the tracks on the E.P. was released as a separate single. The video for "Twisted Dream" was directed by Darren Stein, who has also worked with Jawbreaker and G.B.F. The Haunt accompanied The Hu on two North American tours in 2021.
