iHeartRadio ALTer Ego Information
iHeartRadio-sponsored one-day event, the most prominent figures in the alt-rock scene perform for an electrifying audience. The radio station started this event in 2018 to give live performances of the popular alternative rock songs aired on the air. With over 850 radio stations nationwide, iHeartRadio covers almost 90% of the U.S. population and has produced several successful music events.
Artists such as AJR, Mumford & Sons, and Cage the Elephant performed at the first ALTer Ego event, welcoming famous faces like Bella Thorne and Chris Harrison. More than 60 radio stations nationwide carried live coverage of the day.
Since its inaugural year in 2018, the festival has returned to Los Angeles each year, attracting even more prominent alternative rock acts. There are various special guests and eight to ten bands between sets. People of all ages are sure to have a blast at the festival, which is set to take place in early January.
